Transcript for "Moby Deep Dives with Aj: Working with Moby in Slack": Alright. Hey, everyone. Looks like we have a lot of people flowing in. This will be this will be a great session today. I'll quit I'll give a quick intro real quick, and then, we can flow into it. But, I'm Ethan. Today, we're joined by AJ again, and then we have an awesome special guest, Jason, who's a Mobi Power user working with a bunch of cool brands. And, today, what we're gonna do is we're gonna have a fun convo with Jason. We're just talking about the ways that he's using Moby, and just we'll see where the conversation goes. And then in the second half of this session as well, we will show some really cool stuff around Moby and Slack, how easy it is to set up, how you can use it, some best practices, and some really cool use cases around that. It should be a fun session. And then as always, feel free to throw your questions in the chat throughout. We'll answer those throughout, and we'll make sure that this is a valuable session for you all. Okay. Let's get started. Thank you, Ethan, for hosting us. Jason, thank you for coming on such a short notice. I think we asked you yesterday and last night, and you're like, yeah. I'm happy to jump on. So thank you for jumping on so quickly. Do you wanna give everyone, like, a brief overview of who you are, what you do, you know, what type of brands you work with? Yeah. So I run flat testing. I am I have a media buying background. I also do a lot of growth marketing for d two c ecom brands. Been operating with with, Triple Whale, especially since since the since the summary page days. So, you know, definitely come a long way. I specialize in so my background is gonna be in paid social. So I under because I've been using a lot of Mobi for building things like automations, building things like, or just summaries and and reporting. It's it's it's definitely come a long way. So Jason, tell tell me first of all, it's awesome that you've I I don't remember now, that you've been with us from the summary page. That's a long evolution of starting with ChipWell, like, five plus year six years ago at this point and then till today. Give us a little bit, like, take a brand. Like, what's some success stories you've had with brands? Forget leave triple l and we'll be out of there for a minute. Just like like, what's your typical spend that you're spending a month for a brand? What what are some things you see in meta? Let's just go broader and upload a trip well in movie. Okay. I guess the first part of your question, when it comes to a brand, obviously, we use we use, Mobi not Mobi, but we use for media buying, it's for growth marketing. It's not just about paid media. It's about everything everything above it too. So my thing is everything above the ad account is can be is gonna be very important. So understanding merchandising, understanding how acquisition pays in email, SMS, and the business analysis. Like, not just whatever's inside of the ad account. That's sort of my, a big part of my motto. So most don't my questions you're not just optimizing budgets and bids and testing different campaign structures. You're thinking of the business holistically when you're helping businesses buy media. Right? Yeah. For sure. I think nowadays like, people hear this a lot, but it's it's about holistic marketing. It's not just changing your bid optimizations up and down 20%, throwing creative to the wall. I think that's the fastest way where brands lose a lot of money is is not being very mindful about their growth marketing and and about everything that and the infrastructure around around where their ads are built. Right? Because a brand that's built on just solely a house of, solely on ads is gonna be like a house of cards. Right? You can understand every all the context around the business to make it successful and grow. This is how you drive a lot of profit drive a lot of growth into a brand. Do you have any, like, stories of, like, where the holistic approach really shine for you versus, like, the specific? Because there are there are a. lot of people that are just I mean, when I when I was working in Madison Braids, my main thing was real I mean, I I remember taking these sprints where I used to go on, like, an AOV sprint or an LTV sprint. And I I those actually move the ad account much more than the the bids and budgets, honestly, because you out lock $5 on AOV. It unlocks, like, new levels of spend for you because you can spend more, because your ROAS is higher. Do you have examples of those of, like, where working on not the ad account, but around the ad account or around the business has helped the business a lot? Yeah. There's a lot of examples. For example, one of them is I'm sure a lot of our a lot of these I'll let you guys as customers are on Shopify. If they're on Shopify, they're probably using shop shop ads. Right? So so shop ads, it it's going to attribute a pretty generous ROAS. And number one thing you always wanna do is you always wanna scrutinize a lot of these platforms for what they're reporting and if it's truly incremental. So what I did was, in the beginning before I understood Mobi can do this, was I pulled a sample size of customers coming from shop and then coming from meta to understand the overlap, right, and pulled back a 52% overlap between shop and meta ads. Right? Or sorry. No. I I saw a couple customers that over overlapping, then I used Mobi to understand, what the total customer list or the total overlap between ShopApp and, and Meta was, and it pulled back a 52% overlap. And that tells me, hey. Like, does it make sense to scale up into Shop if there's always if, essentially, over half the customers are already touching Meta before it touches, before it touches, shop. So that kinda led me to think, hey. Like, maybe I should instead of scaling up shop, I should actually be a little bit more cognizant about where I invest my money. So that's just one part in terms of the measurement what of? things. Did did did did you tune it down and then did did did it affect performance at all, or does it the tune down really helped make more money? I wouldn't say tune down. I would say I started measuring shop at a higher baseline. So for example, before, I was measuring at let's call it like a two point, like, a two point o acquisition ROAS. Now I'm like, okay. Let's increase the baseline a little bit more because we know there's some level of of cannibalization happening between these channels. Let's increase it to, like, a 2.3 and make sure that we we aren't overinvesting to shop. I love that. That so first, I didn't know what we can do that. That's the, Ethan and the CEO on the backstage. Let's get that prompt in the get discover section so more customers can use that. Jason, you're gonna have to share that with us after the call, of how you did the overlap. I love it. That that is fantastic. Okay. Let let's go. And what size brands do you typically work with on, I I know you work with not only one, but you were there's there's more than one brand you work with? Yeah. So it's usually around, eight figures is is what the brand size that I generally work with. Eight. figures. in a year. Okay. Amazing. Ethan, why don't you join us on on on on on Center Stage? Most of the brands coming to to the webinars are around that, you think, Ethan, right now? That's around the sweet spot here at Epic, right, for a. lot of Yeah. No. I think that that's a strong sweet spot for us. And, and by all sizes too. And and I think, Jason, you work primarily with apparel brands as well. I think. that's, like is that focus? Yeah. Apparel and so ecommerce in general, I I have deep background in, but apparel is probably number one, and then supplements is probably number is probably number two in terms of how my brand sort of, it sort of started to, to to to be like. So yeah. Okay. So let let's go on your journey with with Moby and with Triple Whale. So you use the summary, obviously, for top line metrics. You use the pixel. What's your attribution model that you're what's your preferred attribution model? I guess it depends on the brand. Right? So if it's let's call it a more luxury, high consideration apparel brand. Let's say they sell more luxury products at a let's say that let's say the t shirts are $200, then you you likely wanna understand, the full funnel, and we'll probably use quick some terms to give you used to to actually get a a a bigger bigger picture. And then when it comes to the actual the actual days, it also you can also use Mobi to to drive analysis of what the consideration window is behind that business. If it's if this if a more impulse purchase brand has a consideration window if Mobi tells you as a as a consideration window of six days, then you probably wanna lean into more of a seven day attribution window and more towards, like, a a, a less view through heavy consideration window, like like, triple attribution. So it really depends on the brand. I guess, Keith, the the core takeaway is first pass Mobi, what's the consideration window? Right? If it pulls back six days, then you probably wanna look look at look at a seven day window. If it pulls back, like, twenty five days and look at a twenty eight day window, if it pulls back, like, ninety days, then look at a lifetime when it's it's staying flexible with how you attribute every single every single brand's conversions not not being templated is is what I would, is the first place I would start and use Moki for that first and then understanding, like, we're we're not using TA, clicks and terms of views. If using attribution window during a holiday season, if it's a three day long sale, probably lean to, like, last click, lean into one day click instead for your, for your attribution models. There's a lot of lot of nuances when it comes to how I'm using attribution windows. That's cool. And just, to explain everyone, like, how well, we can do the the consideration purchase because we have the journey, right, prepurchase to post purchase. But we can tell what how long average journey takes from, like, when when we foresee the the visitor on the website till they actually purchase, and that's, Jason, what you're we're talking about. Something I use also, and then we should templatize this more, Ethan, I I I like to do correlation analysis between a, depending on the size of the spend. But a lot of brands in Triple Whale will spend, like, 70% of their spend on Meta. Right? And so you know. that the Meta is the main driver of the brand. In that case, correlating your Meta, NC ROAS to your to to your total new customers coming in on the brand, and then looking at the different attribution models to see which which one correlates closest to it can give you a good understanding of I mean, correlation is not causation, but what is moving closer is what I would actually, change. But it doesn't answer the attribution window. I love your your your approach, Jason, how to answer the attribution window question using Mobi. Just so everyone here, like, we we are I'm learning stuff from Jason live on the call. It it's Mobi is that type of thing where you just have to interview and get curious. Jason, how did you get how did you make Mobi because you've been using Mobi heavily now for how long at this point? I think this is movie two released. Is that, like, So let's over over. a year now? Not over a year, maybe six to nine months at this point. Six, nine months? Yeah. And and, yeah, I think you're one of the most curious people around Moby, and and the things you've done were very cool. Do you wanna. give us some so besides the attribution window and how to use that, what are the great use cases that you've used Moby that it saves you time and help you make better decisions? I think that we can think a little bit broader in terms of not just media buying and probably leaning getting more in towards, like, the growth marketing and maybe our marketing operations side of things. And you have I use Mobi for solving problems. I usually I usually you have to get really creative with how you use Mobi. It's like you have a problem, then you ask Mobi to solve that problem that day. Right? It's not just, like, well, like, here's here's a template of automations or template of questions to ask Mobi. It's like a really good problem solver. So one problem that I had was, you know, I I tracked my, you know, my clients' sales pretty closely, and I make sure that there's no sort of sort of big big drops in sales day over day. That's the first thing I always track. Right? So one day over an afternoon, I saw, you know, we were plus 7% in the day in revenue, and then the next and then within the next hour, we're minus 5%. That's a 12% swing, which is pretty a pretty big anomaly. So I I the first thing I look back is checkout process. Right? And I saw and looking at the checkout process, let me look look at let me to look at the website, and we noticed the navigation bar had just suddenly disappeared. When that navigation bar disappeared, it essentially led to a dip into a that 12% swing. And from there, I set up an automation that essentially crawls the website every single every single hour and makes sure that the checkout process is smooth. The website UI, UX, all is all smooth. Everything there's there's no anomaly or there's no there's no issues. And from there, if there is an issue, it sends me an email notifying me that this issue happened, and then I can address it right away. Because for that, no one caught it for a couple hours. I'm not refreshing the website every every every 30 minutes. Right? But I am at least refreshing sales pretty quick pretty pretty frequently. So with that little with that that issue, it cost a brand, you know, 5 figures in revenue. And, you know, if if you have the if you have movie called the site, it's it's gonna save you a lot of money in the long run for any sort of website issues that happen. So it's just it's not just media buying. It's it's also marketing operations and CRO, everything. I love that. By the way, just a tip, Jason. There is something called triggers in automations right now. I don't know if you tried this. If you ask Moby to use an SQL trigger, you can have Moby run every fifteen minutes of query. So instead of you going in and checking the sales every hour, Moby can check it, and it doesn't it doesn't burn credits. It basically runs the queries. And if it's a it's a true or false type of so the the the anomaly of, like, 10% swing in revenue, you can bake that into a query, and then Moby will wake up. Moby will wake itself up and then and then diagnose it and send you an alert. And so I guess it would be a second level of protection, given that it's only calling once an hour, and you may wanna do it for fifteen minutes just to make sure at least to know there's a problem. Just a tip. There was another really great use case we spoke about months ago with inventory and ads. Right? Wanna share that one? Oh, that one that one's interesting. So inventory when you're pushing an ad and you're like a high speed brand, sometimes you're running an ad and let's say you're and let's say, sizes medium and large, your top selling sizes are are out of stock. Right? But you're still running ads on it, but nobody catches it on an ad until it's too late. And you're looking at you're looking at your last seven day ROAS, and suddenly you're seeing, like, a decline. You're like, okay. Why is this happening? You check you check back to the product page. It's because, you know, medium and larges are sold out. That's why our top performing ad being attached to one of our top performing products is out of is, is out of inventory. So that cost brands a lot of a lot of ad dollars when you launch ads when you launch ad spend to product pages with sold out products. Right? And from there, it led me to essentially create an automation that that took the product the the product links of every single ad that I had live, and then it would notify me if this product or this ad was close to being out of stock or this, this product associated with that ad is close to being out of stock or it was out of stock. Right? And this way, it it I know to reduce her ad spend if it's getting close to being out of stock or turn it off if it is out of stock because that's one of the quickest ways to to to burn a lot of money. And then those will say this this fix saved thousands of dollars in in such profitability. And you have it sending you an email, basically, right, when when things are out of stock. So you're. you're I mean, yeah, I love this story so much, Jason, because, I had this exact thing. Like, before starting to pull out, I was working the Madison braids. And I remember literally going basically a day and a half trying to understand because we had hair braids and there's a lot of colors in hair braids. And the thing is we're always out of some colors in hair braids, but usually, like, the top colors carry the bulk. But it turns out we crossed, like, a threshold at some point where enough of, like, the insulary colors were out that it it that's the dip in the conversion rate and the dip in the ROAS. And I didn't put that together for a couple of days, and it hurt us a lot. And so when we were building the dataset, the product analytics dataset, so underneath Moby, you have the data warehouse, and then we built a schema that connects the ads data to the product data. Right? Connecting these is not so easy. Right? Knowing which ads is selling which product because you can have an ad going to a collection page. How do you associate how much inventory that specific ad is taking? So so we do that. We we have this calculation, which basically approximates the amount you're selling based on the orders coming in from that ad. Right? And then we we break it into the product analytics table, and that's on what we'll be doing with Jason just described. And, yeah, I wish just we should get UltraBolt customers set up. That's such a valuable. Yeah. use case, you know, in terms of, like, where you get stuck. Again, maybe on a supplement brand when you have, like, one or two I don't know. Actually, I don't know how supplement brands work, but, like, brands that have one or two hero products may be less relevant for, but a lot of brands, fast fashion, or help beauty, like, there's a lot of skews. This this really does change the game. How are you using Mobi for creatives and media buying? For media buying, I use it as a as a copilot. Copilot mainly because I like to see the decisions that it's making before I execute on it because there's there's some context around around ad accounts that I like to have my eyes on first, but I feed Moby all the all the contacts that I know. For example, if this is a prospecting campaign, you wanna you wanna operate off of this ROAS and this new customer ROAS and this this this, cost per new visitor. If the cost per new visitor and cost per added card is is strong, then you probably but ROAS is low that day, probably don't decrease the spend. However, if ROAS is low, cost per added card is high, cost per new visitor is high, then that's the a stronger indicator to reduce spend. Also, give the business context as well. Like, hey. Like, we wanna operate off with 3.5 x blended ROAS. If if the blended ROAS is high that day, let's call it a four point o, and ad spend is is also high, then you can increase. But if that's if or if ad realized is high and then realized high, then let's increase spend. But if blended realized low and ad realized high, then don't increase spend because you still need to make sure that we're operating off of a off of a profitable margin. Right. So that's going to be very important. Also feeding it context, like, if this is a partnership ad. Right? Partnership ads sometimes don't have the, the best performance, but it has very strong click through rates. But if it has strong click through rates, it's at least driving strong email sign ups because people are clicking through the website, cost cost per email sign ups are are are very cheap. That's that's very valuable. Right? You're still driving traffic. It's gonna be feeding into your pixel, whatever. So making sure that it has all this context, if you feed it, then it's gonna know exactly what to look out for, between funnels, between types of ads. Video, like, the Intel video ads generally have higher click through rates than than static ads. So make sure we look at videos or statics versus carousels at a different baseline, and then give me the recommendations. I love that. So so you're you're offloading as much context as you have when you run the to. business. And then and then. Moe and then Moby's basically coming back to you every day with, like, here's the actions you should take, and you approve them or disapprove them. That's that's great. I wanna pause for a second, Ethan. Maybe you have any questions from from from people for for Jason before I keep on asking because I have another I, I have some good ones too. Yeah. But let's see. In in the chat, let us know any any questions you have at all or anything. you're curious about, Tracy. from this conversation, feel free to throw them in there. If not, we can keep on going, Ethan. I have a good one here. AJ, I got a good one. Alright, Jason. This is from a convo we were having, a few weeks ago, but you you told me a really interesting story of you had a client. And despite, like, trying to improve their paid media, some there's some blocker, like, something you couldn't figure out, and the website was getting blamed, but nobody could identify the problem. And so you asked Moby to crawl and just check out the funnel on the website, and then you found, like, a really interesting thing around this, like, $20 flat shipping fee that you went and improved. Do you wanna click into that story at all and, like, basically, how Moby found that and what you did from there? Yeah. That that was that one was, probably one of the the the biggest fines and really helped turn turn the brand around. So this this was a a drop based brand, and they operate heavily off of organic. And so so things like growth marketing and paid media were relatively, were were relatively new. We essentially determined after we looked at why the conversion rate was so low. Right? The conversion rate was operating off of, like, a sub 1%. And we're trying to understand why why was it why is the conversion rate so low? It's the website. So I had Mobi essentially do a diagnosis of the entire website along with the checkout process, and it pulled back. Hey. Like, we saw we saw a fall off from add to cart to checkout. And then from there, it led me to go into the checkout process, understand, okay. It's probably because they're charging $20 shippings. And for a brand that's heavily heavily on organic, $20 shipping makes sense. They'll they'll convert because those are high intent buyers. But for a cold prospect coming from paid media, it's a little bit different. Right? You need to treat you need the the shipping cost and and how you charge shipping is very important. So from there, we ran a test. Reducing the cost of shipping of from $20 down to $9, and the conversion rate literally doubled. The next day, it literally doubled. So, we we that was that was one that was, like, one really, really cool highlight story that we just kind of determined that, hey. This is this is a pretty big a pretty big, pretty big win. That is so cool. I love that. Did you did you add the $11 back into the core SKU or just lower AOV? No. We we we never added that back in because majority of the traffic now is coming from paid media, and, honestly, paid media can't convert at $20 shipping for apparel. It's or for, like, low a lower AOV apparel. It's it's not feasible. It doesn't work. Okay. So first of all, tip for anyone here about shipping costs. That is that is very cool. Mobi also has all the data about your your your, your coupons and discount codes and how effective they are. There's a lot of prompts around that that you can do. But I love I love the fact that you use Mobi. And then this is one of the things, one of the datasets that we have. This is one of the struggles is Mobi is just a chatbot. So you you gotta get curious on what it can do. But, essentially, we have all of GA four equivalent to all GA four's datasets because there's a pixel on your site. So so the the the paths through the website, there's also really great triple l tables that help Moby determine drop off paths and, like, what pages lead to the highest conversion rate in which sequence. And Mobi knows all this. And so, Jason, you taking advantage of that and then using Mobi, combining that dataset with Mobi being able to crawl the actual site is a is a super use case of, like it it has the underlying data, so it knows where to look. It can go check out the funnel and go tell you where things don't work on the website. I love that. Also, for anyone who doesn't know, we added recently, to the desktop version. Basically, you guys all have virtual machines that are tied to your individual user. And so if you go into Triple Whale's interface right now or into Moby's interface, on the top right, you have this little desktop icon. If you click that, it will open up a computer. And in that computer, you can log in to your Gmail, to Shopify, to Shopify. Don't do Shopify yet because there's still there's still issues with getting Shopify to load in here. And then you can just it will remember your logins for next time. And so our team our team is actually using this a lot internally, and some of our customers are also using us. It's it's pretty great. This is open up open up, Chrome there, Oh, Eden. So when go. when when you're using the computer, but we know you're using the computer. And so Moby, Moby's mouse won't move while you're moving. And then when you stop moving, Moby will will start doing it's it's it's magic. It's pretty cool. Yeah. And it's it's awesome. Once you sign in, then it's like, yeah, it unlocks so much. And I think a lot of you have probably seen some of the trend around this recently with, like, Grok bots and and Muse and stuff like that. And so Mobi has a computer just like that as well, and this is something that's gonna be, like, a really important area over time. Just helping Mobi get more work done like you that would require, you know, going across several apps across your computer. So definitely check this out. I have it I have it set up on my triple o for triple o, and now I'm, like, posting stuff on LinkedIn and everything that way just just using Moby. Alright. Yeah. Jason, do you use Bobi in Slack also? Is that an interface? Yeah. So how how. is that yeah. I think Moby and Slack is is very, very useful because it's I I live in Slack every single day and just helps me kinda consolidate my tech stack as much as possible. It also gives a team some like, it lets me forward a lot of insights to teams pretty quickly to to to my my my team pretty quickly too. So, yeah, I think the I think the Slack integration is is a big plus for for brands and agencies that are operating on Slack. Are you using it so I I use Mobi and Slack as, like, two primary use cases. There's, like, me and Mobi. So, like, I use Mobi to ping me in Slack, as a DM. Do you also use both channels between team members and what we're seeing in channels? Yeah. Moby's sitting in channels. I'm still a little bit a little bit old school because I live in Triple Whale, and I I still operate off of, the UI as well. So I use I use both. Like, I always look at the automations within the u within the UI and, like, I like to be talking to Moby in there as well. No. You're not. you're not old school, Jason. I'm also I'm also I'm living in both worlds. No. The the part of the beauty of having Moby and Slack is it's less. It's great to have Moby in Slack to chat with Moby in Slack. But, honestly, the best part is I can go into triple l and or Moby's app and ask Moby about what's happening in Slack. Right? And so the fact that Moby's memories get built from what's going on in Slack, we're and also, like, if I ask Moby, what do I need to know today? Right? It will rip through all of our Slack, rip through, you know, Wells data warehouse, rip through what's going on online, and then give me a concise view of what I need to know. So I I would say there's a dual reason to use Slack. One is one is it what what it's convenient to use it in Slack, and then it becomes a team sport versus a a one user sport. But, also, just to get that context to Moe because I think of it like there's two types of data sources we produce as companies. One is machine data. Call that, like, the transactions on Shopify, the website, you know, your ad spend. We did a great job with our data warehouse that sits underneath triple l, getting all that data for you. But then there's all the insular human data that we as humans do. And, you know, we're not planning on replacing all humans with Mobi. It's a a tool to help you guys work better. And so there's gonna be more and more human data that gets produced on Slack, on Google Drive, on Google Sheets, on Google, you know, Docs, on Notion. And so you can bring all that into Mobi. Combining those two datasets becomes very powerful. Like, the overall if you have both what's going on ground truth, like, what's the ROAS, what products are running out of stock. And then on the other side, you have the suppliers, you know, or the creative, you know, directors in Slack. You can, like, orchestrate the whole thing. Yeah. AJ, I think another interesting point here is, like, just the memory of of Mobius so powerful, and it's something the team has invested a lot in. And so just it it learns from all of this over time and and becomes better. I was just talking to a user this morning about we're building a case study, and he was talking about one of his favorite parts about Moby is is the memory and how powerful it is and how it learns his team over time. And, like, bringing Slack connecting Moby to Slack just brings another dimension into that memory, but it feels intuitive and seamless. Yeah. So about the memory, someone is gonna share. So if you go into your customized Mobi section down here and then you click on memory, so you have the usual level memory, which is, like, my memory, and you can edit it as well. You have all triple l level memory of what's going on in the whole the whole business. This basically takes all of the, you know, 280 employees that we have, and it every night dreams, basically, and it decides what gets promoted to the business level memory. We have Slack level memory. So this basically goes on different channels, right, in Slack and produces a memory per channel. So when you chat with Moby in Slack, it understands the context of that channel. And then we have also workspace level memories as well. And so we have a very, very robust memory system, behind Mobi that makes it work well. Alright. Stop sharing. I gotta stop. sharing. That that's awesome. And what's so cool is all of all of that gets updated automatically, but we have it there so you can transparently see it, make any any manual edits if you want. It's all it's all right there. Let's look at the chat real quick. Looks like there's some cool stuff in here. And that actually looks like we have some people helping each other out, but some William said in the chat, how we've seen a big, increase in not set indirect traffic this year, making analysis harder, and a lot of that's just, like, AI bot traffic increase. So he's curious, Jason, if you're seeing a similar trend. But at the same time, it looks like somebody jumped in and answered, and it said that they've been seeing something similar, but they actually use Mobi to help identify, thousands of these people coming in for less than a second from specific foreign countries. But, Jason, are you seeing some of those, like, increases in AI bot traffic as well? Not for every brand. I I did see it for one brand. I did use Mobi to to kind of differentiate where the traffic was coming from. And I think one one source it was coming from was was China, and we saw that there was this the second highest source of traffic was coming from China. Number one was US. And then we saw no conversions coming from from China. And then from there, you can obviously take take that as analysis, probably start excluding probably start using other tools for excluding traffic coming from China or or, you know, but, yeah, it's definitely very helpful in in understanding where your traffic is coming from and whether or not it's spot traffic. That's awesome. And then it looks like somebody in here said they're using Mobi, to read all of their external Slack channels and prep their replies, and they're almost comfortable for Mobi just to straight reply. So that's cool, AJ, around the, Moby and Slack and that stuff. So you have Mobi in the external channels right now, and I I love that. Okay. That's brave. That is brave. I love that. I'm not, a triple l. I don't think we have Mobi in external channels deliberately. We do have good safeguards for Moby not to share any data outside, but I would still leave Moby in general in internal Slack. Like, I don't think Claude or we have a channel with Anthropic. We don't have a shared Claude tag that they we can chat with that that's their Claude instance. I I would start with keeping Mobia in internal. That'd be my advice. But if you're if you're so adventurous, you can do it. I think we're all learning what our levels of comfort are with these AI tools. It's it's crazy. Actually, Moby now replies to all my emails. Originally, you have to realize that that's a little bit of a of a scary thing because now you can ask my email anything and it can get my agent has all access to all my data. Right? And then if my agent also talks to my Gmail, can anyone ask my agent anything? So now my guardrail actually is a Mobi prompt. I haven't that level of trust in Mobi. It took me time to get there. But with Astra specifically, which is now the default model in Moby, jailbreaking does not happen anymore. Like, it's a thing of the past. Moby doesn't mess up on when I tell it to do something. It's usually too conservative, honestly. And I think open a this is part of the training from the big labs. You usually have to ask Moby to be more aggressive, managing campaigns, ads its ads, and same with emails. Anyhow, I'm going on a tangent here. Any other questions, Ethan, from the from from from the I think I think we we're good right now. If you guys want, though, I can AJ, I can share my screen real quick and just show people, like, how easy it is to set up Moby and Slack. I love that. Let's let's do that. Jason, just one more one more question before we go on there. Like, how often are you using Moby throughout the day right now? It's it's pretty much every day. So it always starts with a broader question, and that broader question kinda chunks down to more specific questions. So let's say, for example, you know, let's just say, hey. Hey. Why are sales so slow today? Right? Let's just call it that. And then it'll take it'll take a breakdown of every single channel, and and every single every single channel and and why it's down. For example, Klaviyo. Right? Okay. So your email revenue is down 15% that day. You look into email revenue. Why is that down? You ask it some more questions. Okay. Welcome series is down 20. That's why your email revenue is is on the deep is is declining that day. We're looking we we look in the welcome series, and we determined that something was was broken there, and then you fix it. So it you kinda ask it a broader question, and you you break it down some more to under to to to get that and and you dig deeper to until you fix until you fix the, the problem. And then that's where that's where the creativity happens. Right? You start with a broad question, and then you find and then you find problems, and then you build automations around those problems. So, for example, that whole that whole thing. Right? If you unders if you know that, let's say, click through rates is a big part of why why email revenue, you know, is it has a big impact on email revenue. Right? You can have Mobi actually scrape all of your all of your Klaviyo campaigns before it starts go before it goes out and analyze it to how to improve click through rates or outbound click rates on these email campaigns. And then from there, you take those though you see those changes and load them back into Klaviyo. So there's a lot of a lot of ways that you can use. using Moby also to build your email type views right now? Not not yet, but I use it to analyze the campaigns and the creative. And then from there, I I I'll take that insight and then build it on Klaviyo. So I I use I use, or I'll have the the email team build it on Klaviyo. I love it. I love it. We have an update coming very soon also to email and Mobi. Not that we're replacing Klaviyo at all, but pushing more directly to Klaviyo. So building templates in Mobi and then downloading your Klaviyo templates and then pushing them back into Klaviyo so you can do it end to end in within Mobi is is it's yeah. It actually was there, and then it got lost along the way. Again, there's so it goes back to so many features. So we're bringing it back pretty soon. We'll make a bigger deal out so we can use it. Ethan, why don't you go share your screen a little bit and show people how to set up Slack and how you're using it right now? Yeah. Yeah. Let's do it. Alright. Here we go. I'm gonna share my, screen you. so much. Yeah. Jason, thank you. Feel free to stay on stage or go backstage, Jason, whatever you want. This has been super, super awesome. Alright. I'm gonna share my second screen down here and, show you all a few cool things. Alright. And for for anybody too that has, Teams and not Slack, we've had a lot of requests for that too. Keep keep them coming. We're gonna work on developing, like, exactly what you see here, but with Teams as well. And just reach out if you wanna be a beta tester for that. But just know that that is coming. Alright. So if you don't have Mobi and Slack set up yet in your account, you'll probably see something like this, where you'll see the CTA to connect Mobi and Slack. But if you don't see that, you can also go to customize Mobi. And then on the integrations here, you can see the Mobi and Slack button here. It's really, really easy to connect Mobi and Slack. It just takes a few clicks. Here you could see I can choose what workspace I'm gonna put it in. And then from there, it's super easy. You can see that Moby automatically found my channels, and then I can just add Moby to the Slack like that. So it literally takes fifteen, thirty seconds, and you could see to what channels Moby is going to be added into. Now with that here, I wanna show you kind of what Mobi looks like in Slack once it's there and and how easy it is to chat with Mobi. So here's a shop that has Mobi connected into Slack. The first time that you add Mobi to Slack, you'll see this little message from Mobi, And you can see you can choose which channels, Mobi is in as well. So any private, any public channel. And then every user too has this little, direct message with Mobi here in the agents and app section. And there you can just chat with Moby as well. And it's super, super easy. Now once you have Moby in Slack, what's so cool is that anytime you reference Moby or tag Moby, you can easily chat with Moby there, just like you would in Triple Whale. So I could say, hey, Moby. How's our performance so far today? And you can see right away that Moby's gonna acknowledge this, and he's gonna start pulling today's performance and summarizing the key signals. And it's it's quick. It's actually really, really cool. So we'll let that run for a minute, and show you that. But in the meantime here, you can see I've been messing around with Moby, in this channel for a little bit, so I can show you some of the other cool things here. So I'll close this out real quick, and I wanna show you here's a question. Hey, Moby. How's our business performance month to date versus last month? Can you give me a high level readout with any key insights? We can see when I open this up here. Mobi gave this awesome readout just, like, literally a minute after I sent the message. And then maybe this is something I wanted to turn into an automation. So I asked Moby to turn that into an automation, and it built this report. And it actually identified too that, hey. You have a similar automation. Do you want me to replace that? And I was like, sure. Replace that. And, it built that real quick. It asked me to do one small thing, and then it confirmed that it's active. And now it's gonna send this automation in our general channel, every day at 9AM. So that's, like, a really, really cool simple use case for once you connect Moby to Slack, you can send any automation output, to any Slack channel, and you can also just, like, build those automations in Moby super, super easily. Not only can you build automations, though, you can also take in. So here's an example. I asked Moby to review my performance for the last thirty days. Are there any actions we should take? So I can open this up here. I get a quick readout for Moby, and it seems like I can trim one of my campaigns a little bit. I just have to queue up that action for me, and then we see it right here. Here's the action for approval. I can just take that action right here in Slack without leaving Slack. If there's any follow ups, I can easily discuss those, but super, super easy to just take actions within Slack as well. And what's so cool what a lot of our users say about Mobi and Slack, you can see here it's just me chatting with Mobi, but you all have a bunch of people on your Slack channels. So it's more of a shared space to chat with Mobi for more people to see that. Maybe you have, people that aren't going into the Triple Whale app right now. They're not normal Triple Whale users. It's super easy to have them just connect to Moby and become a user through Slack, and it's a much more approachable way for them to just start chatting with Moby and to get those insights and. to get that data. AJ mentioned this as well. Like, when you have Mobi in Slack and you also have the email connector set up, you can ask Mobi to audit your emails. So mine in this example is connected to my personal email, but you can just ask Moby, like, hey. Go check my inbox. Is there any emails I need to reply to? It's gonna flag those, and Moby can easily, draft up those replies for you as well. And, then last you wanna you. wanna show, the the landing page, channel in the triple in the triple l main, Slack area? Yeah. Yeah. Let me, yeah, let's grab that real quick. Here we go. Moby. It's one of these two. Right? Top one. Yeah. K. So. this is very cool. So our team uses for prospecting. Okay? So our team will drop in, hey, Bobby. Can you build a landing page for this website? And then we'll use it and send it to that brand and tell them, hey, Bobby can do these type of stuff. So, like, go click in to the to the thread. Let's go click on the landing page, but we built down there. So scroll. down. So, like, it's sending an example, some context, and then here we go. this up. alright. So here I'll pull it down. It opened in my other tab. Here we go. Alright. Here it is. Wait. This is crazy. I know. Scroll down. This is a landing page that Moby built live for us. And, like, obviously, Moby's amazing at building landing pages on your Shopify brand. And this is just, like, one example. So you can you can literally set up channels for specific jobs, like a Mobi inventory channel, a Mobi landing page channel, a Mobi creatives in Slack are amazing. Mobi could send you videos and images. And it's it's just like a way for the whole team to have a thread with Moby that's ongoing around specific topics. And so I think that's a very powerful paradigm that that that people can use. Obviously, it can live in your in your regular threads, but this this is a whole team thread around what we're landing pages. Mhmm. Totally. 1000%. I think, yeah, I think that was the general stuff. AJ, let me know if there's any other stuff you want to call out around Slack, but I think I just wanted to show everyone the foundation, how simple it is. But yeah. No. No. It's great. And, again, like, Slack is available on all plans. So anyone on the foundation plan, anyone on any plan in Tripwire can connect Slack to Moby. But then, again, if you wanna use this like your primary AI tool, the best plan for that is the automate plan. If you wanna do actions, if you wanna do automations, if you wanna have enough credits to really, really use this to move the needle, the automate plan is the best one. Ethan, you could send out a link also to to to get a walk through. But, honestly, if. you guys wanna upgrade, Yes. you can just send me an email as well, and I can get you guys upgraded so you you've if anyone's done a session already or on multiple sessions, you don't necessarily need to go through a demo to get upgraded at this point. You guys have seen everything that they'll show you on a demo and more. And part of the automate also is is you get and this I keep on calling out. You get YBK, Jacob's team, which is our context engineers team, which is basically seven people that work around the clock to help you guys get successful with your AI transformation. And so I think that's part a huge part of all this is learning how to use these tools and having them help you move the needle. One one. thing that j j Jason was talking about getting creative. We are actually working on a feature in Moby that will think of the next question before you get up in the morning. So this is this is something me and Dylan and the team are working on. Hopefully, in the next month or so, Moby is gonna have a system that actually proactively tells you what your problems are, and then you can deep deep dive deeply with it. But even then, human creativity and thinking are gonna be important. You're just gonna move a needle somewhere else. I love it. I love it. Yeah. And, definitely talk to our team if, like, you wanna see a more personal walk through of all of this. They'll answer any and all questions. The link is here. We'll send it in the follow-up as well. I think there's I think we have a cool incentive, a gift card incentive too if you if you meet with them, but you'll see that in the follow-up email. But we're super, super excited about this. And I there's a few questions here. Let me let me answer a few of these questions real quick. Somebody asked, will other members in Slack have access to Moby or only if they're in the channel that Moby is added to? Anybody in your Slack can have access to Moby, but they have to be a triple l user. But if they're not, it's like it'll prompt them to do that and set it up easy, and it's no it's no additional cost to add them as users. and this is. this is for security. We don't want, say. say, a shared channel. We don't want someone else to be able to ask you or Mobi about your data. So we authenticate every single time a a request comes from Slack. We'll authenticate the email of the Slack user compared to the email of the triple l user in order to figure out if we should respond to that message or not. This does mean that your Slack email and your e triple l email need to match, or you can add another email, again, with no cost. This is part of our security protocols to make sure we're giving the right people the right data. Incredible. Incredible. And then, AJ, I believe Steven brought up a good point too here. Chatting in Slack a lot can clutter up the Slack history. Maybe there's a folder, we can add. Yeah. We can we can look into that. Yeah. One one great way to organize Slack is ask Moby to build you an app around Slack conversations, but we can literally build it. Yeah. Okay. What else? Even what's happening next week for the webinars and the following week? What are the next webinars. coming? Just knows. Alright. So next week, I think we're gonna get into Mobi and forecasting on Wednesday. Oh, I'm so excited about this, guys. We have so much in the forecasting arena. It's it's it's mind blowing. it's really incredible. And then and then Thursday, we're gonna bring on another real operator with Moby. We're talking to a few people right now, but we'll we'll let you guys know as soon as that that is. But that's the game plan for next week. We're gonna go deep into forecasting on Wednesday, and then we're gonna bring on another operator for a real conversation on Thursday. And the link, it's the same link. We'll keep sharing it out, but you'll see on that live session link, I can grab it real quick, that you can see all of the the future live sessions as they as they come to life. So really excited about what we have in the pipeline. Everyone, thank you so much for joining. us. Thank you all.
