Transcript for "Moby Live Session: Building custom dashboards with Moby Apps": Alright. Hey, everybody. We will get started here in just a few minutes. In the meantime, feel free to throw in in the chat where you're coming in from, what you're excited to see today. But, yeah, this is gonna be a fun session today. We have a lot of cool stuff in store. We're gonna talk about how you can build custom dashboards with Mobi, and, really your imagination is. the limit here. What's up, Dylan? How are we doing? Jenga, hi, everyone. Looks like people are just rolling in the chat, showing where they're coming in from. We got Mark from The UK. That's awesome. I was actually, I was actually just meeting with our UK team before this. They're super curious how many how many people come in from that region. So looks like yeah. Yeah. We got a few people from The UK on here right now. A lot of mats in The UK. Very cool. Very cool. Alright. Dylan, whenever you're ready, we can we can kick things off. I know I know you've been working on a bunch of cool new stuff that we're gonna talk about and show today. Awesome. Yeah. I'll walk through kind of a few, new things we launched in Mobi in the last few days last week or so, and then I'll kinda bring it back to dashboards in a cool way. So let's kick things off. I'll start sharing. We can get into it. Let's do it. Oh, can you see this? Are we good? Great. Yeah. Looks good. Okay. So one of the things we launched last week that we're super excited about and we've seen a ton of good adoption around already is previously, we had some recommended prompts here, but they were the same prompt every single time, you came into the summary page or the attribution page, and they were kind of annoying. And so one of the things we're trying to think through holistically across all of Mobi is how can Mobi just proactively do things that are better for you and and help you and help you do your job better. And so we've introduced what we're calling dynamic prompts, some Apple style branding here. And, basically, all this is doing is it's gonna look at whatever data is showing on your summary page and then recommend some prompts for you based off some things that are interesting or that it thinks it wants to call out. So, hey. How did orders drop 16% even though sales went up? Interesting question. Rather than having to go through and find that data and search it out yourself, you could just come in and drop this prompt here, and it'll kick that off. This will update any time anytime you change your date filter. So I could come in here in the last fourteen days, and then it'll pull fresh insights based off that date filter. Hey. Why is total sales down 38%? Great. Probably a pretty easy callout. So just a much more easier way to jump into things with Moby, and the same thing exists on the attribution page. Something I'll know is that it's smart enough to look at the view that you're on. So here I'm on the channel level view, and it's gonna make some channel level recommendations. Hey. Why is meta CPA, you know, above our average CPA? And then if I actually click into meta here, it'll make campaign level recommendations as well. So let's give this just a second. And then, hey. It's saying, you know, why is this one at a CPA of a $111 when it's 40% above our average? What's driving this one to 1.6 x ROAS? Whatever it is. So recommendations based on the specific campaigns as well. And then we also just introduced these on the main Mobi page where it's going to make recommendations based on what you've been chatting about. Here's some old actions I can dismiss. But based on what you've been chatting about and, all the connectors you have in place. And so it has a tip here, which is give Mobi a goal. If I go into this plus here and then I go into customize Mobi, we have this goals section. And then in here, you can actually set goals of things you're trying to accomplish. Hey. We're trying to get total sales across a million dollars this month. We're trying to keep our meta spend below a 100 k. We're trying to get our creative velocity to a 100 new creatives every week. Whatever it is, you can put those goals into Mobi, and then Mobi will actually make proactive prompts and recommendations here to help you drive those those goals. And so there's some other stuff in here that's coming soon. This is kind of my own beta version of Mobi, but this tips section is live in the app today, and made much better by coming in here and actually setting up goals. So definitely go put two or three goals in here. They can be big long term goals of, hey. I wanna scale my business to 10,000,000 a year in sales, or they can be very short immediate term goals of like, hey. In October, we wanna, you know, get meta spend above 50 k while my maintaining a two x ROAS. And so good premise, yeah. Go ahead. there's a good question, Dylan. I think someone's asking if this is for any shop or if they have to be on a certain plan. This is for is this for anybody? This? is for anyone with access to Mobi. I'll tell you right now that, like, this right here and on the summary page and these here burn a lot of usage, but we're covering the cost of that usage. So there is a pretty decent credit cost to running this every single time, running this every single time, but we just think it's a good way for Mobi to bring more value to users. And so we're actually eating all the usage cost there. Obviously, if you click on this prompt, that'll use usage. If you, you know, click on this here, that'll count as usage. But any plan with access to Mobi, we're basically just taking that cost on on Triple Whale's side to help you get more value out of Mobi. So as long as you have access, you'll have access to this. Awesome. And then I have a question too on the goals, Dylan. There's you could set, like, a business level goal or you could set, like, a goal just for yourself. Right? Yeah. That's correct. And I so go ahead. no. I I just think it it was a cool use case for me too because, like like, sometimes you might wanna set a goal across your entire business of, like, we wanna hit this revenue. And, like, everybody will see that goal, and Mobi will know that's a goal for your entire business. But you might also have a personal goal of, hey. I wanna ship more creatives. I wanna build more landing pages. And you can tell Mobi those things too, and that's something that, like, only you can see, but then Mobi will know as it's working with you to give you personal suggestions around that as well. Yeah. So just to make it super clear, a shop goal will apply tips for everyone. So anything that's added into shop goals, people will get recommendations of suggested prompts and things to do based on the shop goals. And then, where is it? Your own goals will only influence the recommendations that are made for you. So up to everyone to decide how they want to do that. For small teams, it might be totally fine to just do shop goals. If you have bigger teams or you're exclusively focused on media buying or exclusively focused on the creative side of things, whatever it is, makes a lot more sense to set up some personal goals here. That way, it's it's keeping the context scoped to you. And so the the I'll I'll share again in a second, but the the key thing we came into this webinar wanting to talk about was dashboards. And so I wanna actually show you what this looks like for us when we're using Mobi and doing something like this. So, let's pull this back up. So this is a dashboard that I actually created. What we put in place, when we built this is that anytime someone clicks one of those prompts, we're logging that with a a triple whale pixel event, the same event you could log in your store. You can anytime someone does something, you can emit a a pixel event. And so that's essentially what we've done here is I can come in, and and this is just let's even go look at the chat here. You know, before, I had a shop breakdown in here, showing all the shops and how much they've clicked. Obviously, that's not data we're wanting we're not gonna wanna show on a webinar. So right before this, I was just saying, hey. Give me a button to hide the shot breakdown. And this whole thing is just me saying, hey. You know, when I hover over the points on the daily suggestion clip, show the number. And so this is how we use Mobi here internally is I built this dashboard. I'm asking it questions. You know, this is me saying, hey. You know, we I wanted to see how this day was doing compared to this day. And so I said, hey. Can you give me an hour by hour comparison of the data? Like, I just wanna see how we're pacing. Are we pacing ahead or behind? And so this is also a way to, like, talk with the data without actually influencing the dashboard. This is a live dashboard. And so what that means is this data is fresh. When I open this up, it's pulling the most fresh recent version of the data. And so I can come look at last seven days, and I can see, okay. You know, 2,900 users have clicked on these pills. And something that's really exciting for me as the PM for Mobi is that 2,100 of those people who clicked hadn't messaged Mobi in the last fourteen days. And so, you know, this was a great way to reactivate more people in Mobi, and so we built this dashboard. It's something that I'm sharing with our team internally to keep track of the data, and then all of the data is being pulled in and refreshed automatically. And what's cool is people are concerned about usage, which totally makes sense. Once you get this dashboard built, if you ask questions or updates here, obviously, that will burn usage. But these are just SQL queries. They're just data queries. And so once this this dashboard or artifact is built, it doesn't use any more usage to pull the data. It's it knows exactly what it needs to do and so it just makes the request to pull the data based on the date filters that you're selecting or whatever it is and it's not using any usage. So this is an internal version, and kind of how we use it on our end. We'll kinda pass it off to Ethan to show examples of what this could look like for for stuff you guys wanna do. Alright. Let's do it. I'm gonna share my screen. Let's go here. Alright. Yeah. So Dylan started to show some really cool, internal use cases around how we've been using this. And we've been seeing a bunch of super, super powerful ways that our customers are using this as well. And and this is just another beauty of, like, the magic of Triple Whale having access access to all your real time data, all the queries, everything's organized there. And now it's, like, really, you can use your imagination to create new types of dashboards, that would have previously been super hard to build or just not possible to build. And we wanna show you just a few examples of really just how easy it is and and what are some of the things that are possible. And so here's an example of an idea, that we've seen and I had of, like, building a live dashboard that has a interactive map of your revenue by country for the past thirty days. And you could see here all all we're doing is telling Mobi to let us click a country to see its top products, order count, average order value, and all of that stuff. And this is literally one prompt, and then Moby builds this interactive dashboard here. You can see our our demo shop here is just really very focused on US and Canada, but we can see that breakdown. We can click and we can get that breakdown here, and you can see, hey. Here's my US orders. Here's that revenue trend. Here's some of those top products, but just like a really cool dynamic dashboard, that we can create very easily with Mobi. And you you can even add your filters here. You can change those date ranges, but really powerful to create something like this that would have previously been very hard or not possible. The other thing we wanna show too is anytime you create a dashboard with Mobi, a live dashboard, you can see the data that it's connected to here, and you have access to all of those queries. So if you have a data team as well, like, they're gonna love this. They're gonna love working with this tool. Our data team loves it. You have access to all of this data. You could even see the HTML code that was used to build that dashboard and the settings behind it too. You can change the name, the description, you can add it to a specific workspace, but it's really easy to customize these settings around your dashboard. Now here, we'll show some other fun examples here as well. This one is maybe you wanna create a growth playground. You wanna create a dashboard that uses your last thirty days as a baseline, but allows you to have some sliders to adjust for if you increase your traffic or your conversion rate or your average order value. And this is a really cool example of something you can use to kinda just set those goals, play around with those numbers, and and identify those targets that you wanna move. So in this dashboard here, it's updating, every day. We can see these these starting points, these baselines that are created in real time, and then I can customize from here. So let's say I increase my traffic, 5% from the baseline. Okay. We could see how how the revenue will adjust from there. Alright. What if I increase my conversion rate to 3%? Okay. We can see the lift. Now we're at a 17% overall lift versus that baseline. Oh, maybe I wanna reset real quick. I can just hit reset, and maybe I increase our average order value a little bit to 95. We can see how that plays out as well. But a really cool example of not only just building a basic dashboard, but building the foundation of a basic dashboard and something dynamic, that you can play around with and build something off of. This is a fun example here. Like, maybe you want a really focused view of a dashboard you have with your morning coffee every day, and you can see just some of those high level stats, but also just, like, some insights or things to notice. Your net profit increased. Your average spend, ad spend decreased. Maybe your revenue dropped as well. But this was a really cool example of a dashboard that that I built, and it's comparing yesterday's performance to the three d the the three day average for that day of the week. And you so you can understand, okay, how did yesterday, a Tuesday, perform for the average Tuesday for the last three weeks? And we can start to get some really clear insights around that in the morning. Something that would have been really tricky to build in the past, but very, very easy to bring to life now with Mobi. Alright. I'll look at, I'll show a few more, and then we can just dive into some of the questions here. While you're pulling that up, Ethan, one of the. like, an example I saw, like, a week ago from a customer that was super cool is they built, like, a a a top customer dashboard. And, basically, it was a dashboard that, like, anytime a new customer crossed, I think it was 10 total orders, it put in, like, their address, their email, their contact information. And then this was just a founder of a company who just, like it would show, like, new top customer, and he would just, like, grab their email, send them a thank you email being a saying, hey. Thank you so much for, like, supporting us. And it was just, like, part of his Monday morning routine was just, like, take 20 and anyone who becomes one of our top customers from this dashboard that's pulling the data, I'm just gonna go send them a little thank you email to let them know, like, we appreciate their support. So, you know, Ethan is showing amazing examples, and we'll show some more, like, really in-depth dashboards doing a million things. There's also great use cases of just like, hey. Show me any of my customers that cross 10 orders and draft a quick email to them saying thank you and and doing something like that each morning to just, you know, build a little more goodwill with your customers. Yeah. No. That's a great example, and I think it's a great example too of, like again, we don't have to just build dashboards anymore. You can actually build these views to do something. And, like, that's that's an example where, you know, it helps you take action. You can get it you can get that clarity. Alright. Now have me drafted personal email to that customer. Cool. I can customize it. I can send it out, and that's gonna really be meaningful for your customers. Similarly, like, this is an example of, like, you might, you know, wanna figure out what bundles to build, and you might wanna explore what products are purchased together. So this one looks at the data for the last ninety days, and you can click on any of your top selling products, and then it should only take a few seconds to load. Then you'll see, like, what products are frequently bought with that product. And so this is a really good way of informing maybe what bundles you wanna test or or things like that, in a really, really simple way. And then two last views here. One of them might be, like and these two views are example of of role specific dashboards. So maybe on on someone on your retention team is really focused around LTV. You can create a cockpit just for them, an LTV cockpit. You can see here, I'm really I was really high level in the prompts I gave here, but I just wanted a view that was dedicated to uncovering clear insights so we could maximize our LTV. And you could see what Mobi came up with. It was it's really powerful. I can adjust the date range. I can see, our ninety day revenue LTV, first order net value, how many repeat customers we're getting within those ninety days, and I can start to analyze and break down those trends. What's cool too is, as Dylan showed earlier, if I wanna give feedback or change anything on this dashboard, I can just tell Mobi in the chat. But I can also hit this edit button, and I can click on different components of the dashboard and really simply make those changes, there that way as well. And, again, these are all connected to your live data, so it's important to, specify that as you're building these, and that will make sure that Mobi connects them to the queries. And that way too, like, these are refreshed in real time once that happens. If you want, Mobi can create, like, a static report as well, and that won't be connected to your live data. But as long as you tell Mobi to connect it to your live data, Mobi will do that for you. And then last but not least, before we talk about some other questions as, this is an example of I can refresh this data. Oh, there we go. A retention cockpit. So maybe you have someone on your retention team. You want them to really analyze and oversee this data, focusing on your email and SMS flows. You can create a dedicated view for tracking all of that, seeing your campaign and flow revenue, and diving into that. So just wanted to show kind of a just an example of the breadth of what you can do with Mobi. And and these examples are something that hey. I I saw some examples. I thought through these yesterday. I was able to build all of these dashboards out in less than an hour. So it's really, really powerful what you can build and how quick you can bring this stuff to life. Alright. Let's look at what questions we have now, and go from there. Yes. We will share all of these dashboards, and we'll share these prompts that we used to to create each one. And that way, you guys can run these prompts, and you can customize them for your own needs as well. Alright, Dylan. Let me know. Let's look into these questions, and we can answer. Here. I'll stop sharing. Okay. Yeah. For for Melanie, well, yeah, drop us a link. We can we can help you through that. And sometimes too, you just have to clarify to Mobi to connect it to the live data, and and then it'll be fully dynamic, and you'll be able to address the date range. More retention insights. Yeah. We'll share the dashboards. Let's look at Matt's question here. Can goals be shared across shops? Dylan, let me know. I I don't know if goals can be shared across shops yet, but I think that's something worth exploring especially for, billing group customers. Yeah. Right now, I don't think so. I'll go double check and send you an email, Matt, following up to see what I feel like the best option would be here, especially also a way to just, like, build dashboards that kind of pull revenue figures from both shops to to solve this issue. Alright. Let us know what other questions you guys have. Yeah. No. We we've built we've built dashboards internally with trend lines, and we also build dashboards just, for pacing as well. So sometimes we'll we'll build dashboards that have certain forecasts, and we'll build pacing dashboards to track versus those forecasts. One question that was in the little q and a side, Ethan, that's awesome, is someone said, what do you suggest we do with the old dashboards that we built in triple o? Seems like a lot more data in these new style dashboards. Can we ask Mobi to convert? Yes. Absolutely. You can literally just, like, go to the previous dashboard, take the URL, and then just say, hey, Mobi. Convert this into a new, like, Mobi dashboard and drop the link. It should be able to do it. If you're running into any issues, just let me know, but it should be able to do that pretty seamlessly. That's something we put a lot of work into. And then you can easily tell it, add this data, add trend lines, add a you know, whatever you want to bring into that experience as a as a better dashboard. You can absolutely just tell it convert your old dashboard into a a new one. We should show, here. Let me I know somebody's asking about a creative dashboard. So creative dashboard, Corey, yes. And I wanna show you this is loading. We actually have one. Okay. Cool. I'm gonna share my screen real quick. We have one called the Creative Pulse. So let's show this. No. Okay. So here's a cool example of one, and I'll I'll show you guys how you can access this. But this is we're gonna start, like, sharing our own templates for these as well. So this is one called the creative pulse that we created that you all can access. You can see it breaks down, your the Verizon distribution, top performers, fatiguing ads. You're starting to get some insights here. You know, we have some other tabs here as well that you can just look into all of this stuff. So this is an example of one that, like, you can definitely use and start to use for creative. But what's so cool is with all of these, you can just click the remix button, and you can, like, customize any of this. You could just save a copy of it for yourselves as well. So that's something we're gonna start to do more of, and you should you should see this, in your creative section. And if you don't have it yet, I can show you. So if you go to your Mobi page and you get inspired, you should be able to download the creative pulling this up, Ethan, someone asked what connectors. are needed for the creative post dashboard. We basically just need your ad data. So as long as you have, like, your core triple platform in place, we don't need anything else. Finding the creative pulse here right here. So you'll see get inspired apps. There's a bunch of other cool ones you should all check out. Here's the creative pulse that we just showed. Feel free to click on these. It'll build them, and then you can easily customize any of them, and it'll make a copy. You don't have to worry about breaking or changing anything. You always have access to the original one as well. Sweet. Awesome, Ethan. And then I'll send that message in that shit. I'll send a message in the chat. But, if anyone wants to hop on a call, go through dashboards together, give feedback on dash boards, things they're having issues with. I just dropped my email. Like, is that correct? No. That's not correct. I'll post the correct email. And then shoot me an email, and we can get on a call and and go through things and try to build something that's useful for you. There we go. Click on, for John, click on apps. Instead of creative slash ads, click on apps, and then you should see creative pulse under there. We're gonna clean up the organization of this, but click on apps right now, and that's where you'll see all these custom dashboards. And you'll notice too anytime you build one, technically, on the back end, they're called Mobi apps. That is when you build a custom dashboard. That's just how what we call it on the back end, because as you can see, sometimes it's not exactly a dashboard, sometimes it's something else. So, yeah, click on Mobi apps, and that's how you'll find them. Awesome. Awesome. Alright. Sweet. Yeah. If there's if there's not any other questions, we can wrap this up soon. We'll send out, the recording, the prompts as we always do, but let us know if you have any other questions. Feel free to reach out to either of us, and we'll keep, we'll keep helping you all out. Awesome. Thank you all.
