Transcript for "Moby Fireside Chat with Austin Urlocker, Marketing Strategist @ Dixxon Flannel Co.":
Alright. Hey, everybody. Welcome to the event. We're we're... AJ will be here in a few minutes, and I'm joined by Austin from Dixon Flannel Company. So it's gonna be a really fun, interactive conversation today. Austin, do you wanna start just by, like, introducing yourself a little bit and giving some background? Yeah. Sure. My name is, Austin. Like, Ian called out, I'm, our lead growth strategist at Dixon Planno. I've been here about two years. Prior to that, been working on, like, agency side, literally since, like, internships in college. So about ten years, across that space. Really got my start in paid social, even did a jump over to, like, the sales side starting as a BDR into a closing role, moved to account management. Got really strong experience across a range of industries. And, actually, jumping over to Dixon two years ago was really my my first dive into the e commerce world. So it's been a very fast, kinda, trial by fire with with Dixon. It's been super fun, but learning everything about the ecommerce space from someone who has really worked more in, like, the lead gen side. I even did some, work in the entertainment space as well. Horizon Media, I used to work at. So I got to work on, the Surviving R Kelly, film when that, when that went live. And, you know, I even worked in supply chain management with Chet Pallets. That was... Sounds like a boring industry, but it was one of my favorite, clients to work on agency side. It was it was really cool. Amazing. AJ is here now too. AJ, we were just... Austin was given a little bit of his background to start. We're just kicking things off high level. I'm so excited to have you here, Austin. It's great. to see. you, man. It's been. since, the Whalies. It's been some time. It's been some time. Yeah. I'm so excited to have everyone else here as well. Thank you guys all for joining. Where are we starting, guys? Are we starting with, with Austin or starting with the video? But, guys, we've hit some milestones on video. Austin, I can't wait to show you. It's like, Yeah, dude. I, Ethan gave me a heads up that you'd be going through some creative, up... Updates on the creative development. there's some there's some related. I'm excited. there's some crazy stuff right now. Like, I'm still trying to wrap my head around what this means for for for us and Triple Whale, but more importantly for you guys as brands. Like, I'm about to show you guys, Ethan. Like, I I think we... Let's try to share it here. And if not, we'll do the Google Drive so you guys can hear the sound. You have my video in there, Ethan, or no? Yeah. Yeah. I have your video. Let. me, I just... I wanna say, you guys will see this right now. You guys are gonna go back to your computer, and, basically, this will take up the next couple of days for you. I guess, it'll be ready to clear some time off. It it it... It's it's huge. It's gonna be big for for for everything, for you guys specifically in Econ. It's gonna be huge for us. K. Go for it. Alright. Ethan, share your screen. I'm, I'm grabbing it right now. Choose a window. We're gonna try this. We're gonna see if the sound works. If it doesn't work, we're we're gonna figure it out. Alright. So here's the video, and I think I hit share with sound. So let me get an agent. Just let me know if we can hear the sound. We built the best video agent on the planet. It is the first video agent that can do with the video for an hour long without stopping you. If you do a three hour long video, a half an hour video, it can make you a rocket out of cheese, a rocket out of Lego, a rocket out of steel, and a rocket out of fire. It can animate a rocket with code. It can draw the rocket. It can show you the specs of the rocket, and it can make Mars look like Earth. It is insane. It has storytelling and education and product imagery, ads, anything you want. It is the next level of what video is. A mega agent with AGI. It's AGI for video, and it's here. I did this all in movie. I am real. I took this video. I sent it to movie. I asked it to animate the whole thing in one shot. It can do different voices. And different voices are different voices, Macy. Different voices. They can do different styles. They can do anything you can imagine with the fonts. They can do the future. Nuts. I'm gonna say that's pretty rad. It's it's crazy. So Moby worked, like, for an hour to do that video, maybe an hour and a half to do that video. But that was one shot, guys. The... I don't think there's any other tool on the on the planet that can do that. It's combining, like, all of its magic to make that video. I don't even actually, yeah, I don't even know how it's doing it. It is 5.5 Opus that you have to select in Mobi to make that video. But, basically, you can take any past videos that you guys have right now and play with them. Right? You can just throw in a... And the prompt is basically just what... You tell me we watched the video and use animation code and your video editing and and your video capabilities to make this amazing... To make it an amazing video. And you can say if you want to be funny, serious, drama like, and it could do it could do any style. Now if you don't still get multiple clips, so if you give it different... If you have a Google Drive, you can connect to Mobi, and you can just be like, okay. Take these three files and make me a new ad from it. There's literally no limits on what what we can do. It's basically having, like, a full time video editor that can do magic. Let me show to sick. the back end. I I was... We have the whole team messing around with this today, so so everyone will see a lot more soon. But let me show an example. Alright. Sorry. I'm trying to share my screen. I think it's loading. Let's try again. Screen. Share screen with audio. Choose screen. Alright. I guess my goal request. My... Sorry. It's not letting me share my screen. Let me share let me share this example, though, too. Let's see if this one works. I'll do another video. Share window. If not, I'll do another one, Ethan. Yeah. Sorry. I guess Goldcast. I got one more. One more try. One more try. Alright. Here. Let's try this one. Alright. So... Alright. This should work. But before I show this one, similar to what AJ said, this was one prompt I shared with Moby. I created... I recorded, like, a video beforehand, and I just told Moby to make, like, a really cool UGC style video explaining this. So I'll play this now. Quite some big news to share with Mobi. Now Mobi, the AI harness for commerce, is incredibly good at making videos like this using real footage like this. In this video, I'm just recording a video of my face, and Mobi's doing the rest. It's putting this together. Step one is as easy as opening your QuickTime player, recording the video of yourself just like this. Step two, upload that video to Mobi. Make sure you're using Opus 5.5 as the model. Step three, tell Mobi what you wanna create with this video. Is this a cool UGC style marketing video? Is it more of a explanatory video? Are you making a cool ad for your product? Give Moby some of that additional context. Put the effort into one of the higher thinking effort modes, and then let Mobi cook and edit and bring the video to life. Mobi understands the context of your business, the brand guidelines, the products you sell, and all of that. It can really help bring these videos together in a really powerful way. So... Yeah. Very cool. Very cool. An. important an important note also, is that is that the, the sound you're hearing here is not great. It's so much better. I'm. The sound and the music is is part of the beauty here. Ethan, do you wanna share the Google Drive so everyone could watch it also? Yeah. I'm also. I'm also gonna share... send this to my video team after, after, this course. call. This this is it. I I want... K. Show off now. This is my... You guys see my screen right now? See my son my son here? Yeah. Yeah. Check this out. This is video of him, yesterday. This... Can you hear it? Yep. What else, David? I didn't buy you other. What else, Tabith? And what else? One second. One second. Before the end, David, is there a sky? Yeah. Sky. And a whale? And a whale. And a whale. And a cheese and potatoes and chicken and tuna fish. Can you say potato in the pot? Put banana. It is ready for Shaba. For Shaba. This... All this took is this prompt. That's it. Okay? This is the prompt. Can you animate this video, make it amazing? That was it. That's crazy. then it worked for fifty eight minutes, and it produced that. Yeah. It's a it's a new world right now for video guys, and for video editing and for ads. Right? So, like, if you have Google Drive with ads, if you have your ads on Meta, just go to Mobi today and play with it. Make sure you are on the automate plan so you have access to 5.5 Opus because this only works with 5.5 Opus, but it's like, it should make you guys the money back within twenty four hours of the admin line. Like, I don't know. Like, we like we we set a new new formats. I actually had the whole team... So the whole triple o l team this morning got on the Zoom call at, like, two hours ago, 10:00. And we're actually... Like, the whole team is filming videos today, and we're putting them out at 04:00, on socials together. I just... I I don't see any... Yeah. I don't know. I don't know. What am I saying? It's a weird time we live in, guys. Like, the the the... This AI is changing everything very quickly. I've had Moby make me half an hour videos and hour videos. Again, not very relevant for ecommerce, not my Jewish thinking and philosophy, but it makes cohesive half an hour to hour long videos. Maybe next board meeting, you guys can make a video instead of a deck. It'd be pretty interesting. Okay. Let's go to Austin and how you use Mobi right now in in, for... Like, I'm having so much fun, guys, using the tool right now. I don't know about you guys, but I'm having so much fun. Austin, why don't we talk about how you use Mobi? Yeah. I I gotta say, coming back from the Whalies, I got... That's right when I got Mobi two point o, put into my account. I remember, you know, after a long day of travel, kids are down in bed. I'm, like, laying in bed nine, 10:00 ish, and I'm just on the triple l app, right, playing with Mobi, like... Because Mobi two point o was so good at being able to create all these new reports so easily, and I was shocked at how well it worked on... Even on on the mobile app itself. So I really have brought integrated Mobi into our organization, to really support a a mantra that we have, at at Dixon Fitfo, we we call it, figure the... I'll... Stop. I won't swear, but figure the f out. Right? We have a whole, group chat between our COO, head of marketing, and myself, and Moby's in that chat as well. But, essentially, any... My goal is, like, I do not want us to be limited. I don't want our business to be limited because we don't feel confident enough in understanding the data that that we have or really understanding the nuances of our customer's journey, their lifetime value. So really just being able to play whack a mole on, like, all these different business level questions that are popping up, I've... We've never felt more empowered on understanding, like, how how do we actually grow this thing? How do we maintain our margins? It's really helped us just be able to do so much more than we have before. Some of the examples I talked with Ethan about before was, first, building out stronger buyer personas. Now I will say our... The process that I use, I did not come up with it myself. I showed Ethan the the documents, but it's actually from a, pretty well known, creative strategist, Alex Cooper. He has a whole video, on YouTube that you can take... You can create a persona brief just like I have right now. He has the full outline of it. He talks... His process, he walks through with Claude and Parker, but he even calls out in the video, like, I even go to, like, Moby, and and it works, it works great with Moby. Moby always has great insights there. And it... It's really more our... This approach to personas is more, hey. Do not... We don't care about the demographic data that so many personas get typically start to focus around and end up feeling like fluff. It's the buyer psychographics that we want to understand. So being able to review all of our... Or go through all of our product reviews, all of our social comments, scraping Reddit threads. I even go in, do my own... Add in my own manual research where, you know, I'll go to, YouTube videos that I find, people talking about dicks and flannels. I'll go into the comment section, find the most liked comments. Right? And then, then I'll, you know, copy paste those into a sheet, throw it into Mobi, say, hey. Here's some, external research I've done as well. And that really pulls everything together to really be able to, understand what our buyers are are... What is going through our buyers' head the moment, you know, when they're when they're seeing our ads, when they're on our site shopping. We want to understand their frustrations, failures, fantasies. What false solutions have they tried before, that didn't work out that may have some bias against... Like, what can we address that gives us a ton of great jumping off points to really start developing meta creative, landing page, messaging, all of that. We... We're taking this approach of we want to speak exactly to these buyer cycle, like, the buyer mind... The different buyer mindsets. And so it helped us uncover really three core, profiles that we see. It's our ride... Rider work functional buyer. So these guys are more so on the... They're buying because, you know, they go for long rides on their Harley. Their normal flannels are bunching up on their arms. They're, so they're slit... When they're over on their handlebars, so their arms are getting burnt after hours in the sun. Right? So we wanna speak to, hey. We have a longer cut. It's specifically meant to, you know, keep you covered, and it's gonna last for those living those out... Harder outdoor lifestyles, right, versus our collab fanatic who honestly isn't really coming to us because they know of Dixon or, or are necessarily, like, have been scouting the brand, but we work with a lot of big, a lot of big IPs, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Slayer. We just did an Aussie Alec Born flannel. So we have to understand, like, people who are coming to Dixon from those collabs probably are going to need a different journey after their first purchase because they're buying more so to rep Metallica, to rep ACDC, rather than being a... Someone buying on the Dixon brand itself. But we get them in the door with that collab, and then we can tailor their email SMS or, yeah, their email SMS flows and really try and cater to getting them from that onetime collab buyer to a multi purchasing at... Dixon Addict. Right? We call it in in a Dixon, over here. Then, we also have, like, our hype tester. So we... There is a very strong referral, community in in Dixon. Everyone we talk to, they've always got... You know, when they're new to the brand, they're like, yeah. My buddy, he's always talking about the the latest drop that Dixon's doing. He's he's obsessed, and I I hear, you know, so many great things, but it's a $60 flannel. Why why don't I just go buy, you know, three of those at Walmart for the same price? Right? So there is a lot of, ways that we can now talk to, speak to the concerns that that, hype tester, is really concerned about. Like, is it worth the hype? You know, we wanna lean with... Lean in for that buyer with, hey. We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. You don't love it for any reason. No questions asked. Send it back to us. Right? We want to reduce that risk and the friction of them making that first purchase. So I'll pause there just so I don't ramble on too much. But, yeah, that's really, I I think buyer personas have been, pretty solid. And I'm sorry. My, my son is, napping but crying in the background right now. So, if there's anything popping up, that would be why. All good. All good. Awesome. Do we do we do... Do we share what Dixon does? And, like, the, So, like, rough size. or just people understand, like, it? Yes. So we, we've been around for about thirteen years. We, started as, you know, men's flannels. Right? Again, really, originally catering to, motorcycle riders like Danny, our founder, that was... You know, he was working at Harley Harley at at the time as a sales guy and really running Dixon on the side. We're bootstrapped. So we... On our door, we have a 180 and a dream painted on it. And, you know, from that initial $180 that Danny started the comp... That's what he had left in his bank account after his, first round of inventory. Realistically, it was a $180 and $14 of credit card debt. And now we are, you know, 9 figure brand. This year, we're looking to, looking to close around a 130,000,000 on the, d to c side of the business. So, we've really built our our foothold in a a limited edition drop based model. Last year, we released a 186 unique flannels. We will do about three product drop or three drops per week. Each drop will typically have, like, a flannel, a short sleeve button down, a bamboo shirt that we have, which is kind of like our summer flannel, much lighter, material. It really keeps us going in in the summer. But then we also have, you know, workwear, chino pants, shorts. We have over 18,000 product SKUs on our site right. now. It's a lot. to manage. That's crazy. And, how big is the team, Tony? Like, how is the team structured? Fairly... I I wanna say it's fairly small, like, corporate corporate side. 22, 23 people total. A lot of that is... There's maybe, like, three people in the organization who could tell you what a CPM is. So there's, like, it's, you know, three of us really with a performance marketing background. A lot of, video... We've got two full time video editors, full time photographer, stylists, things like that, our our internal production team. So it's a it's a tight knit, but very passionate group of, group of people who, honestly, we all come from some aspect that Dixon speaks to. I'm a lifelong skateboarder. Our head of marketing, I grew up skateboarding with... As well. We worked agency side together, and it's it's kinda just been, it's just a team of passion, really. I love it. I love it. Ethan, you have specific questions or try to just keep them rambling? I think you have a list right there, right, of things you wanted I have go, over? yeah, I have some notes we can we can look at too. But that's... Well, first of all, that's that's incredible. We should we should we should learn from how you build those personas, looking at all of the data, Austin, and and share more ways for our customers to do that. Because I think a lot of people don't realize just the depth of of information that they can analyze with Moby to really build those psychographic, buyer personas. So, one, that's just incredible. Two, I know when we were talking beforehand, you shared some of those good examples, so I think we can dig into another one. I think another one you talked about a lot was using Mobius to help with your forecasting and daily pacing and just some of some of your performance in that area. So I'd love to dive into that a little bit. Yeah. So this, this kind of stemmed from a need where our our daily revenue, can fluctuate dramatically based on drop. Right? If we... Some drops, they are million dollar days. Right? Non drop days, and depending on the inventory volume that we have avail... Available, it may be a 100 for a day. And how we plan those drops each year, things shift pretty often. So we always have to be aware of, like, hey. We're halfway through the month. We're up 20%. But in two days from now, last year, we did a sale that we may not be doing this year or our product line has dramatically changed. How do we really account for that and keep us on, you know, on target? So where I started this forecasting process was... Okay. We know at the the end of this year, I'm gonna general general general numbers I'll throw is we wanna grow revenue 15% and new customer orders, 20% year year over year. Just throwing throwing that out you... Out there. Have Moby take a look at how is our revenue typically distributed throughout the seasons of a year. Right? Take a look at our release calendar for October, of 2026. Here's the in... Here's the, I'll take all that data from our project management tool, Asana. I'll put it... I'll give it the inventory volumes, take a look at the previous year's release calendar for October, take a... And analyze the sell through rates between 20, one day, three days, seven days of these products. So we can now start calculating, okay, comparing those two similar drops that we have going this year and start estimating the sell sell through rates, what revenue that's going to generate, what, promos or discounts are we applying onto that, What is the trickle over effect of the revenue from, you know, a drop day that happened Monday? You know, if we're not a 100... We're not gonna be a 100% sold out by Tuesday, Wednesday. Right? So how is that revenue going to continue to trickle over? And for us, it's it's really shown to be a a solid but conservative, you know, daily target that we have to hit. I I am working with more of, like, act... Trying to calculate more accurate forecasting. processes rather than daily targets because what I've seen in October specifically is, like, they look really accurate at the start of the month, but as I rebase it, because I'm working to to a set revenue number that I know I want to hit this month, when we overperform, those daily targets for the rest of our drops and just daily breakouts start to shrink and shrink in our... Like, if we're continued... Continuing to over perform, that's where it's like, okay. This has become less of a forecast and more of, like, a bare minimum we want to break. Right? Well, first of all, it... it's it's a good it's a. good it's a, good problem to have, right, to, keep mood breaking, your. forecast just... down. I've been so excited that... To see, like, on our bigger revenue days because I knew that would be harder to, like, really get in a close accuracy, but we've had two, million dollar plus days in the in the last thirty days where Moby's, like, target that we set through this process was within a 22 k, 2022 to 25 k of, what we actually hit. So on. those got that. revenue days, like, to come that close is insane. It almost... It feels like I'm, like, in Dune. I've got... You know, I'm starting to see a little bit of the future. Right? There's a little nerd of me coming out, but do you, do you connect Asana through the mobile connectors, or you just, screen... Like, what... How are you getting the data in from Asana? right now, I just copy paste into a sheet if there is a direct integration. with with, is. There is. There, is. okay. It's must. be newer because I I would let. that. It's new. It's new. And this. is our problem. Even Austin, one of our super users, doesn't know what we have in the background here. But, yes, if you go into MobiConnectors, customize Mobi in in, like, the plus button, you go into. connectors, asanamonday.com. I saw you guys got Fuego in there. That was new. Yeah. Yeah. Right? I think there's, like, 80 connectors in there. So so if you could show where where it is. Yeah. Here. I'll show it real quick. So when you're in in your Mobi chat, you hit the plus button, connection hub, then you can see the Mobi connectors here, and Asana is one of those connectors. So, yeah, definitely check this out. Another new exciting one is is the Klaviyo connector. I know a lot of people will be super pumped about that. So so. Klaviyo... Here Important Klaviyo connect... We've had a Klaviyo connection forever in the integrations, but now you can basically do anything that you do on Klaviyo. Building flows, sending out anything from Klaviyo, you can now do through Mobi. Building new campaigns, you know, and all. all... Heck yeah, dude. Yeah. So Yeah. for anybody that doesn't know where they're at, this is how you can can find all of those. Alright. Cool. I'll, take this off. Alright. So forecasting, Austin, is one big one. And by the way, just just I've heard this multiple times, forecasting inventory. Again, deep data work. Like, I know we we just showed off the videos, which is super cool, and it... It's amazing. But, like, we really excel at deep data work at Triple. Whale. And, I love that we're able to support you, Austin, in in in that. Is it a lot of... It does sound like it it is it is work. Right? It's not like out of the box Mobi. Someone has to put some time into getting that forecast. Right? Like, you're working. back with the phones. Yeah. There's there's absolutely, I mean, to be able to do this, right, on... With... Without Mobi, it just... I don't think there's enough time in the day. It it makes these, milestones or, like, capabilities that we have actually possible with with the small team. Right? So there is... There's work. You... It it really forces you to know your numbers better, as as well. It, you know, forces me to dig in, look at what our inventory volumes were last year. One one, like, workaround I've I've noticed, because Shopify... Like, you are limited sometimes to what Shopify or other platforms will be able to, you know, pass through, right, or you can even see. So one challenge I had was looking at historical sell through rates, specifically for our d to c inventory because it's just not easy to be able to pull and look at what the starting inventory was October 5 last... Oh, yes. For August, Yeah. dropped last year. So, like, a workaround, if you wanna get creative, what... For me was like, okay. We'll look at any... Just only look at, sales, units sold from the exact drop time. Sometimes we'll release products to our app users an hour earlier. So give us some bandwidth of, hey. You can look up to an hour ahead of the actual drop time and, then just take the unit sold from that starting point and use that to... As a proxy for that initial, like, starting inventory for your d to c, side of the business. And that seems to be working pretty accurately on on my side to be able to, like, confidently say, yeah. This is this is the, inventory we had last year of this product starting on this drop date because there are products for us that, like, go to the b to b side and, you know, wholesale, retail, things like that. So I I always wanted to make sure I'm specifically looking at what I'm selling through the website and our app. Amazing. And, I would wanna, like, explain to everyone what's going on behind the scenes. So Mobi Moby has an amazing forecasting base model. Two two base models we've spoken about this last couple webinars. We have a time series transform out of Amazon and of Google, and we've customized them for ecommerce so they can forecast in a daily, weekly, monthly, hourly basis and intervals. But, like, you see Austin here is doing a lot of work, right, with the model. So, like, the base model will not give you the drop that's happening next Monday. It doesn't know that. Right? Especially if year over year, you're changing your dates. And so, like, working with the model and putting it on all these extra, pieces. Also, it sounds like if it wasn't for Moby, you need, like, a team of, like, two or three finance people to, like... And. this is this is what, like, you'll typically have a larger company. So I have a a finance function that that basically sits there with Excel spreadsheets and figures this this out. Even for those teams, I think it will be helpful. But, definitely, if you're a smaller team and you're trying to figure this out, it's a it's a it's an... It's an... Something you would never do before that you can now do. So one thing I I do wanna call out and, like, give props to the Mobi Slack integration is our release board, even if I started, like, imported our calendar, you know, very start of October, it's it's finalized. Things can switch around for us very, very often, within days of a product actually supposed to be going live. We may move... because of inventory? What... What's It it could be, it's typically because inventory hasn't reached our... Like, specific inventory may be delayed and hasn't reached our Phoenix warehouse yet for us to be able to, like, get everything shot and, We try and have that two weeks ad. Things happen with, product shipments, though. Right? So we have to be very, very agile. We have a Slack chat release board updates. Anytime a change, a finalized change to our release board happens, our head of marketing posted in there. It's, like, ten, 15 x product moving to this date. Right? And so Moby's Moby's in that chat, and it knows when we're doing our forecasting to scan that chat, look for all of our relevant updates in that time period, and say, okay. Now we have to rearrange our our forecast and our kinda daily targets based on all the latest shifts in in that release schedule, which I thought... I was like, this is... So the first... When you first told me about, that Slack integration, AJ, that's exactly where my brain went first. I was like, and it worked perfectly. It was awesome. I love it. And and, yeah, I wanna piggyback on this. Like, we at Triple Whale use it similar to what Austin. Like, Moby isn't... We've 280 people now across the company. Everyone uses triple... Like Moby in our company to run Triple Whale. Like, we live in it, and it becomes smarter over time. Right? Moby is an amazing memory system, amazing dreaming system also, and a skill system. And so, like, the more you put in it, the more you get it to Slack, the more your team members are in it, the better everything gets. Like, if you try, like, Mobi without your teammates and, like, it does x, but then with the... With with with the whole company, it's a completely different product. We're still internally having challenges to get everyone to understand that that dynamic, but, like, this is a perfect. example. Right? Mobi without Slack is a lot less powerful than it is with Slack, for, like... You wouldn't necessarily think forecasting matters, but it really does. Right? Because all these external events now, Moby has privy to. And so first, I will encourage everyone if you guys are on this webinar. Make sure to connect Moby to Slack. And also make sure to get your your teammates on Moby because the more everyone uses it, the smarter it gets, the better it gets. Yeah. I see, our our finance team, our web team are starting to get into it now too. So it's, I've I've been kinda, like, shouting Mobi for, like, the last year across our Oregon. Now it's it's getting picked up of, like, oh, yeah. This is it's a lot easier. Yeah. Yeah. We also have an update on on on on on web design, Austin. I think we'll show it in the next couple of weeks where Moby can now edit the theme liquid. So, like, it. really can... It not only build landing pages, but it can up... Ethan, you wanna show some of the... You have on your on on your dad's site, the Halloween? Yeah. Let me, you give me a minute to pull them up, and then I'll I'll show them. Those those. are crazy. Feel free to keep keep chatting, and I'll pull them up on the side. Hi, Austin. Any other cool use cases that you had? So forecasting is a big one. Right? What other what other, cool use cases using movie four? So I was very hesitant on the idea of using Mobi to, you know, take over my, like, ad building workflow. I was like, meta ads manager is so finicky already. I don't think putting some, like, a middleman in between me and ads manager is a recipe for success. But about, a couple weeks ago, I I sat down. I was like, okay. I'm I'm going to carve out time. It may be a little less efficient for me to learn and and test and make sure that, you know, this works the way, Moby's saying it it works. Right? And I was shocked at how easy, and how... I don't I don't think I've caught an an issue yet by, by building everything out in, Moby itself now. So, I have basically a set. Moby understands, like, when I ask for a meta ad copy package, right, it knows I'm going to provide it, like, here. Here's the drop information. I don't even have to pull, like, provide product descriptions anymore. It knows to go into Shopify, find that product as long, like, as long as the page is already built. It knows the specific, like, copy angles that I would typically want for a drop. I can... I'll even call out, hey. I want this drop, specifically tear... Tailored to our collab fanatic, and it will start developing copy from there. Then I will, I I will have it start developing. I will give it all of our product imagery, our model images, and it will start... It started to piece together a really solid static image assets. I'll give it our video links to any video, like, relevant drop video assets that our our team has done, compiles all that together, and builds it up. Where... The only point at now where I have to step outside of Mobi to launch an ad, is if I want to tweak... Make a tweak, like add site links to a, a meta meta ad itself, or I want to add a specific product catalog. And to me, that seems like that's probably something that direct access tool will probably get... Be able to do. I know on the computer side as as well, like, it... Yeah. So so I... it naturally tries to do that, but I've the computer away, from I I wouldn't I wouldn't... I don't think... So the computer use is amazing, but we're gonna build those... The things you're missing, Austin, into Moby directly. yeah, I... I've strayed away from the... Trying to use the computer. I was like, this feels like something that's gonna be added any any day now. Yeah. Yeah. So. I I wouldn't I wouldn't... Listen. I wouldn't... We use computers in triple o for everything as well, but I wouldn't do it for the Facebook ads manager. Doesn't feel right to me either. I I would keep that it... Through the API. Also, you want everything logged. Right? Like, you want... Part of the beauty of of Moby and triple o is, like, unlike just having agents from on your ad account, you wanna know, was it Austin that pushed that change? Is someone else that pushed that change? Right? So having everything being able to be audited is super important when you're running big budgets on on paid media. Okay. I love that. So so Mobi's helping you produce the the... And you're mostly pushing it through Mobi right now, right, directly to Meta? Yeah. Like, I'd say 90% of what... Like, to get a new drop ad set live for us, it's done through Moby. Now I use... Our account uses incremental attribution across the board, currently. That's one thing where I I tested, like, with Moby and it... When it would create an ad set, it was having trouble creating, being able to change the app... The attribution setting. But I just have, like, a templatized, empty ad set in our account now for prospecting and existing customers. then Mobi just goes in there and puts. it there. It duplicates. it, I'm gonna, and and uses that. check. Again, it feels like something that can be added to the direct access tool Of course. I'm learning. things live right now. We're gonna we're gonna add it today, tomorrow. If you wanna show the, do you have it pulled up? The Halloween. one? Yeah. I can share the landing page real quick. This is Alright. Check this out. Let's go to window. Alright. Can you guys see this? Yeah. Can you see AJ? Okay. Cool. So this is an example. This this landing page was built, entirely by Mobian. So this is something that we're working a ton on. Austin, too, if you haven't messed around with this yet, definitely mess around with this. But this is as easy as telling Mobi to make a landing page for a certain ad or a certain product, and then you can really bring to life, a native landing page that you can publish straight to your Shopify from Moby. You can see here I'm building it for one of our best selling products. We have all of the details here. We've been pulling in Alright. all of our Klaviyo reviews, everything. It just feels like a really awesome page that we can customize, go back and forth with Mobi. Mobi has all the context of landing page best practices and everything as well, has all your brand context, but just, like, a really cool, powerful use case we're leaning into because we wanna help you all make high quality landing pages, faster because we know it's time consuming right now and people don't make enough of them. So, yeah, this is a a really cool one, and this is an example of, a brand I run on the side of my dad. We're we're starting to make a bunch of these pages for our best selling products, for BFCM, for all of that stuff. Heck yeah, dude. Yeah. So... Actually, even while... You can stop showing. What I wanted to show you was actually, the collection page that, Dylan was just showing me on on the team a couple of minutes ago. Anyhow, for different... I don't think. I I don't think I saw that yet. Yeah. I I know. I know. Things are moving. Oh, yeah. It's. another update. Mobi now can do everything that you guys can do in Shopify. This isn't, like, a a day or two old at this point, maybe a day old. Where Mobi can do blog posts. It can do it can do theme updates. It can do it can do everything, discount codes, product imagery, product descriptions. Everything that you can do in Shopify, Mobi can now do directly through the API. And so you just ask Mobi to change something, and it will do it. So that is that is a new update. We basically got a lot better with everything on Clavin, everything on Shopify over the last week. Yeah. Okay. Awesome. If you got a good tip for someone to get that, like, to explain to their team, you obviously are are are an internal champion by by by Dixon on Mobi. What would you... What would they... How'd they get the team to be excited about Mobi and to use it more? I I just I I just tell people, hey. Like, what what problems do you do you currently have? What what data do you need to be able to, like, figure out the solution to that problem? Or, you know, what are the blockers there? You know, if they, you know, talk me through, I'm like, okay. Yeah. Well, all that is either already connected or or can be connected to Mobi. So, like, just literally go to the the chat interface, and this is where your own curiosity is going to. And if you're a creative problem solver, I feel like Mobi is just, like, the perfect, the perfect tool for you to be able to really dive in and and get into the weeds and and figure out how do I how do I feel confident about any, a specific analysis or aspect of our business? Like, how do I clear... How do we develop some sort of improved process to do things more quickly? It's... There's just so much you can do across the board. Even outside of everything we talked about, little small wins, have been cool to stay, like, being able to develop design resources for our our design team. So our design and video team, they are traditionally more... It's... They don't have a lot of experience, like, developing content specific around ads. They... They're not as familiar with, like, meta formats, safe zone overlay. So I knew... I I remember our our team was really creating a lot of videos that, like, nine by 16, videos that would... Off their captions would often, like, be cut out in the four by five feed format. Right? So I was like, okay. Well, what if I just have Mobi make you a a transparent text overlay PNG that outlines, here's the four by five, here's the nine by 16, here's the upper third overlap of that four by five and nine sixteen where we know a user's eyes are going to go to first. That's where you're gonna... Like, here's where the best spot really for you to try and put put your captions first. Right? You know, you're gonna catch the user's eyes across both of those key formats, and you're not going back and forth. Like, if you're in Canva running that, you know, meta ad check, safe zone checker. Right? You just overlay it on your video or your design, and it's it's right there. Like, that took two seconds for Moby to make, and I use it myself. Our video team uses it, and it's like some... Something added to our data that makes things so much easier, less back and forth. And it was just like, oh, a quick thought. And now this is a tool we have across the board. It's so, cool. but it's cool. No. It's it's it's it's so cool. One tip I give... I I gave the team this morning, and I think it's true, is, like, treat Moby like a... Like like a sounds kind of like a human almost. Like, just talk to it like a like a person almost, and you'll get more out of it. Like, if you assume... The default should be assume it could do stuff. You know? Even if it tells you it can't do it, just tell it it can. And until you get to hit a wall, it really is, yeah, that... That's the biggest tip I would give. The the tool has so much depth and breadth to it that we're discovering it as as, like... I literally... I'm making half an hour to hour long videos and sharing them with the community, the Jewish community, and people are like... They... They're blown away. I don't think any other tool in the market can do this right now anywhere. And so for you guys to grow your businesses, I think what Austin said is, like, curiosity. It's like we we moved actually our internal, value system, triple well. It used to be speed and focus. Now it's speed and curiosity. You need to be super curious. We need to do a better job on the product to help you not need to be curious, so it does the value for you. We're working on that. We have a creative tab coming very soon, a conversion tab coming very soon, and then Mobi being more proactive around the business as well. But in the meantime, until we get all those, and and even even then regardless of that, I think just for everyone's... To be successful in this new world of AI and the way it's transforming everything around us, curiosity, I think, is the most important trait we all need to, like, hone in on. Austin, thank you so much, for the time and for being a supporter, and we love supporting you guys and the rest of everyone here on on on the call. And I hope you guys enjoyed this. Heck yeah. Appreciate the time and always happy to come on. So it was great talking to both of you. Awesome. Yeah. Thanks so much, Austin. Thank you, everybody. Have a great one. See you. Alright.
